Where to sharpen tools

I apologize if this is not the correct place to post a question...

Can anyone provide a reputable business where I can bring my tools to be sharpened ?  Preferably in the East Bay (I live in Lafayette). Note: I brought them to Vito's in Walnut Creek, but did not get the impression they were familiar with sharpening woodturning tools

I have Sorby tools & need my 3/8" spindle gouge, 3/8" bowl gouge & round-nose scraper sharpened

    Thank you,

Hi Chris,  you need to sharpen frequently while turning so all turners have a grinder with a sharpening jig next to their lathe.  If you go by the woodturning school in Pleasant Hill (where BAWA meets) on Friday mornings (9-12 am), one of the instructors can show you the grinder setup.  There are lots of BAWA members in your area if you want to see how people sharpen or you can come over to marin and I can show you what I do.  Let me know your preference.  Regards  John Cobb

Thank you for the info & offer John.

I do have a grinder with a OneWay jig, but don't trust myself to sharpen my tools...

Fortunately, I met Brad Adams today at the Lafayette Art & Wine festival. He offered to give me a lesson on sharpening my tools !  I'm planning to visit him next week.
