Classes

Many of our advanced or professional members teach woodturning classes through the Pleasant Hill Adult Education Center Diablo Woodturning Center.  Those classes are taught in the same woodturning studio in which BAWA holds its monthly meetings.  Classes range from introductory to advanced and special projects.  

Friday Morning Independent Projects Open Shop

In addition to the formal classes, you can go to open studio every Friday morning during the school year. Come and work with expert coaches. The vast selection of tools and accessories will allow you to undertake most project opportunities.  This is ideal if you are looking for help on a project, if you don't own a lathe yet, or you are simply looking to spend some time working with fellow woodturners including highly experienced coaches!
